In September 2021, Barwon Timber donated $500 to a local charity organisation, Geelong Mums.
Geelong Mums was created with a vision to share more, waste less and care for every child by collecting and redistributing nursery equipment such as cots and prams as well as clothes, books, toys and other essential items for babies and school aged children of families in need.
The money we have been able to donate mean the organisation can purchase new items such as nappies and wipes that will then be bundled into packages and donated to new families who may not be in a position to buy these themselves.
In the last financial year, Geelong Mums was able to help 6,022 babies and children and rehome over 18,000 items worth more than $2,000,000. So once again thank you for making it possible for us to donate to such an amazing cause!
